Dittico fotografico

Combining two (dyptych) or three images (triptych) has long been popular in fine art for paintings. Much more so than in photography, which is why there are few representative examples of this technique for photographs. However, a composition with two images that show and are about the same theme strengthens the narrative possibilities of these same images. They are bound by a nexus which allows the combination to create a distinct reality, different from that created by a single image. Individual photos can be beautiful, but it is often a strong combination that can lift them to a higher level and lend them an entirely new value.

I tried this combination with two different themes: Landscape and Abstract.

The landscape of the Veneto because this is my land and the abstract because it represents my creativity.
